Will this be enough for surfing the web and watching videos online?
This is the first time I'm building a computer.
Do I really need to buy a thermal paste? If so, what kind should I buy?
If you have any other suggestions or anything else I need to buy like thermal paste or static strap, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!

Thank you so much.

Yes, your build is enough to surf the web and watch HD video. Depending on your browsing habits, I would suggest 8 GBs of RAM if you're the type who keeps a lot of tabs open. Otherwise, 4 GBs would indeed suffice.

No thermal paste is needed in your situation. Also, I agree with Torn Mind on the RAM. A 4 GB DIMM is only 35 bucks in newegg.com

Also, Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD is really cheap. It has twice the space and many times more cache, while only being a bit more expensive.
