It is all standardized and it is an SLI certified board so no it will all fit. It is just a smaller form factor that will fit in smaller cases Recently there has been little difference but size, it used to be mATX would only have 1 PCI slot and 2 RAM slots, now they fit everything a full ATX board can fit though.

Great!! I went with the board suggested, as well as a intel I5 2500k and am extremely glad that I went with this combo. However, im currently installing the mother board and there are a few questions I have about the screws that go into the standoff ( I have all the standoffs lined up with none un-used behind the board. I have 2-3 different types of phillips screws that each screw into the standoffs. Should I use the hex head, or circular? Also there are a few washers included, should i place these between the mobo and the screw that goes into the standoffs?

In All honesty, it doesn't matter too much, as long as the threads match. Technically, the hex head ones are for the PSU and 5 1/4" drives and the circular ones are for the mobo. You don't need to use any washers.

Alright, well those are some quick choices that I have made. Didn't jump out and make any purchases out of fear of bottle necking this cPU (intel core i5 2500K) I also have 8 gb's of ddr3 ram at 1600 mhz, and the plan is a 600 watt power supply but if that needs adjustment that's alright ( haven't bought the PSU yet). Well, thanks for the help again! The build is going great ( knock on wood lol ) and i'm glad i've gone with everyones suggestions the PC looks great ( specs are even better glad I went with the z68 after I did some more research ) Let me know what you guys think of the video cards!

Unfortunately they don't have that card in stock :( The reason im avoiding newegg so much is because this is a build for my younger brother for his birthday which is the 5th of this month. Card looks great though, and I would love to get a free game with it but unfortunately there isn't enough time to wait for it to be shipped :( Gonna go ahead and include a link to Frys electronics (local store) ( from what i've seen they have prices that rival newegg )if it's not too much trouble it'd be much appreaciated if you could take a look around the GPU section and see if theres anything that looks good..if the 600W PSU needs upgrade let me know. Thanks once again! Hope it's not too much trouble

Also preferably i'd like to go with NVIDIA for the 3d vision, can ATI support 3d vision glasses + monitor?

AMD's 3D support is much weaker than Nvidia's right now. 3D Vision is one of those love or hate it things though. I would be very cautious about buying it for someone unless I knew that they had tried it and liked it.

3D notwithstanding, the card that mnewsham linked would be my choice and it shows as in stock for me now.

If you are wanting/needing to buy from your local Fry's, they are suppost to price match online retalers like NewEgg now, but YMMV. Not sure if your local Fry's has the card that mnewsham linked but it may be worth checking.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! My first build went great! The pc is amazing! Don't think i could have gone with a better motherboard, started up on the first try. For the videocard i went with the msi 6950 twin frozr II 2gb OC edition. It's a great card, I'm running crysis 2 at a stable 60 fps with dips down to 45 fps with absolutely no stuttering. ( without the dx11 patch and the hd textures ) haven't had a chance to rate the fps with dx11 and hd textures but ill post the stats when i do. Thanks again! ( if anyone thinks of a better video card i have a 15 day period to test it out ) still have some money to use if an upgrade of the videocard is suggested I could upgrade .
