Well, got a parking ticket today, first one evar! Student parking lot....had the money for a permit, went and got it, and go the car..blam, a $30 ticket oh well, live and learn eh?

The funny thing was I had a permit all year last year and I still got like 200 bucks worth of tickets because I was too lazy to park in my assigned lot and walk so I'd always park in loading zones with my blinkers on or in front of dumpsters. The sad thing is the few times I paid for meters because I was late and wanted to be closer I'd come out like 2 minutes after the meter expired and I'd have a ticket...

parking tickets are nothing.......I got one....i was also gone for a hour and a half with no permit...and the guy had just wrote it because the time was at 1pm and i retured to my car at 1:20....

Talk to the parking department. Tell them what is up, and they will probably drop the ticket. Don't sweat parking tickets... I've had more than I can count. My friends and I used to park illegally and "split" the cost of tickets.
