First teaser for 2011 Audi A8

Can't see much but the preview looks good. Still prefer the new XJ tho.

I was gonna say, is it gonna be another soulless blob? The new XJ is exactly what a big expensive sedan should be : exciting AND classy. I can't say the Audis look cheap or crappy by any means, but JHC is their lineup bland, other than :

A5/S5
TT
R8

Everything else is like a 4-wheeled morphine drip.

Um....I think the car is being covered because it looks so fugly. Look at those sketches, *shudder*.

Why the hell would they even offer this car in a 4-cyl?? That seems just ridiculous considering the demographic they are targeting with this car. Epic fail...

I don't care what anyone says but I think that Audi's are some of the sexiest cars on the road. The LED's on the front lights are sexy as hell.

You think the new A4 looks like a 4-wheeled morphine drip? You must have forgotten it off your list.

A big +1 from an A4 owner.

I don't like how the body of the car is made out of fabric.

Yeah, leave that fugly design language to BMW. It's starting to make its way into various Audis and it's ruining them...

for non-US places that have a massive tax based on displacement perhaps?

Fixed.

the A8 is generally rated the best of the german large sedans, so they must be doing something right😉

My prediction: It's going to look a lot like the current A8, but with LED jeweling in the headlights and thinner, wider taillights. Oh, and it'll have the same overall interior design of the current A4/5.

Audi is about as adventurous as Porsche.

I'm driven to the airport on a regular basis in most of the high end cars. Out of the Lexus LS, A8 and 7 series, the 7 rates highest, followed by the LS, then the A8. It too sporty for a car designed to be driven in, rather than drive. That being said, I'd consider having an S8 to drive, but not to be driven.
