Okay, at the coffee shop The Good Guy spent a nice deal of time discussing tech/coding stuff (all very, very impressive sounding), yet he's having issues making/linking to an html page w/some pix on it. Am I the only one who finds this kinda amusing ;)
But I'll cut him some slack 'cause he's had a rough night. Lord knows if I was xyyz's partner in pool I woulda kicked his @ss for scratching 3 times on the 8 ball. Talk about going from hero to zero... :D

I will ask him what the heck he did to it. Cause last when I checked it was working fine. Infact it is working fine.. cause I can see it internally, but somehow when the request comes in from outside the network its supposed to recorgnise the url and show that virtual directory. I dont feel like messing with httpd.conf right now.. especially since he has some custom settings on it.

BTW, must have been wierd meeting people from the forum. Chatting with each other must be pretty boring now that you've met the people face to face, don't you think?

Is writing on an internet forum truly sociable? Or do you have to meet the people first or at least see a picture of them?

one would think... but it was totally cool... everyone got along wonderfully... no friction or "dead coversation spots" ... that's why we're gonna do it again...

as for the code stuff... that was a brief segment... what happened was we were sorta talking about business and it sorta changed into a "how is this done" conversation.

that's tsaico he is tall as hell... and as for the macking... talk to him about it... he'll give you the full run down... :)

and Mats: it was a cool event, for it to happen I think it was a combination of good ppl and luck.

Dang, The_Good_Guy got these things up fast! I thought it would at least take a little while to get them up... And as for the macking I am not sure what that was all about... No macking was going on here.... and I am not all that tall really... 6'. The other guys are just SHORT, make me look like a giant.... But it was all a blast. To recap,
1. Played a few lanes of bowling.... (we all suck ass) should have asked the when attendant got off work, she was kinda cute... cool too...
2. Played some games of some shooting game...(we held our own)
3. Went to dinner (Islands, pretty cool place, cheap good food, nice waitresses, though the waiter kept ignoring my pleas for more water)
4. Went off to play pool (we suck ass at that too)
5. Had some coffee ( Kelly's was the choice of java for the night, ok stuff. kinda sweet though)
6. Took off for home... just glad I got back!

All in all, I would say it was a good night out. The guy to girl ratio sucked, but hey, it was still fun. Heard some talk about doing something again soon, perhaps the Pomona Raceways. (for those of you who do not know what that is, it is a place where you can race go carts and stuff. Pretty cheap and lots of fun.)

anyway, guy to girl ratio = Guy divided by Girl right? so 6 / 0 = Infinity! I tihnk that's a good ratio... :)

1) check anandtech... press F5 to refresh, look for all threads posted and check for reply
2) recheck hotmail for latest mail.
3) check HotDeals..
4) repeat 1)
