I decided to get into photography and bought my first DSLR... the Pentax K200D. Along with it I got the DA55-300, which is what all these photos were taken with.

This was my first weekend with the camera so I did an hour or two of shooting on Saturday. Since I'm just starting out and learning a lot, any comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Some photos I cropped a little and the only PP I did was white balance (everything shot in RAW). If anyone wants to see 100% crops to check the detail of any image let me know.

Very nice.
They seem on the warm side a wee little bit. Which is fine if that is intentional. If you intended neutral, might want to calibrate your display.
You also have an eye for isolating the subject, which is important. Good stuff.

Thanks foghorn. Actually it was a little warm because of the default white balance presets in Lightroom. I've manually adjusted each photo so it should be more accurate and neutral now. Any other advice you can give?

Those look really great, some of those look very professional.

I think they have great composition, crop and females there but I think they all seems to underexposed a bit with the exception of the horse shot. Possibly an expected behavior for auto metering under strong sunlight, I will have to admit though it could be even darker if these were taking with my 30D.

I like 6 the most.
