Anyone watching or attending it? Wish this was around when I was in high school. Also wish I could afford to go but way too much money to fly out and stay. My daughter is on one of the teams competing and so glad that NASA is live streaming the event here.

Good luck to all the teams (especially 175 though!!! 😎 )
 
Competed when I was in high school about 8 years ago. It was a great learning experience. Thanks for the link OP.
 
A lot of engineers at work help mentor the local teams. They keep telling me to join in because they need the help, and it looks like it could be fun.
 
Just as a parent in the stands it's really a lot more exciting than I ever thought this kind of thing would be, really infectious.
I am going to try to join my daughter's team as a mentor next year.
 
yeah, very fun for awhile, but the program is very prone to parent politics like anything else designed for kids - i'd recommend testing the waters before diving in
 
Soooo close to making it to the finals, the alliance was 12pts away from heading to Einstein. 🙂
