First Reviews of the Raidmax Titan / Samuarai Case

Yeah, they are 120 on both intake and exhaust. It's listed as one of the "pro's" at the end of the first review linked above.

-D'oh!

Damnit, they better come to market soon. I have been wanting to buy this since LAST YEAR when they showed em. So annoying. I liked it a little better when it was called The Predator and looked much better. But now this new design is a lil more dinky, but it still has a cool effect. F off alienware.

holy crap it costs 200 euro there.

Man, raidmax must be smoking weed. No one is going to pay 200$ for it if the insides are nothing to scoff at. twin 120mm fans, tell me something that Antec hasnt accomplished. For 200$ it should have a very posh interior.

Agreed, the exterior may have cost them alot, but they shouldn't cut down on the interior...it's like exactly the same as some $20 case except with 120mm fans.

they look awesome, but yet again everyone biting everyones style. plus it cost too much, ive got alot of ideas for original cases but the world will nevar see them !

Those reviews show the 901's
All i can find are the 908's which put that Fugly crap on the door.

Anyone know where to get a 901 like the ones in the review links above?

My Girlfriend wants one bad for her birthday.

Hey Guys,

Word of warning on this case!!!! I just built my first comptuer over the last two weekends. I took two weekends to build the case because the case has a small defect (maybe just the early models?). It looks like the case does not work with some motherboards from the reviews I have seen on newegg (after I bought the case).

The standoff screw holes work only with their face plate (any other face plate for the input output jacks will not work!). Even after you takeoff the faceplate and simply screw the motherboard in the 1/8" the holes are off will prevent you from lining up the AGP & PCI cards with the slots they provided.

Buyer Beware!!!! Beautiful case if they ever repair this defect.

I am using a Gigabyte NF3-250 socket 939 mobo & now have a different raidmax case.

Yeah saw the user reviews on Newegg about the standoffs being about 1/8 inch off when i was looking at the cases.

Wierd how not one single site mentioned this in their reviews.

THNX for the heads up. 😉

EDIT: decided to spell NewEgg correctly. 😀

Yeah, it was a big disappointment. Hopefully they will have the defect repaired and a 901 selling in the future? I thought I was screwing something up on my first build. After getting a new case (raidmax scorpio 668) and seeing how everything went so smoothe I was relieved!

Emailed raidmax and heres what they said.

I'm sorry 901 will not sell in U.S.
We are fixing the problem of standoff. It have a problem, but not so serious as reviewer said. It has 1mm off but you still can put everything correct. Some system builder still using samurai to build their system.
Thank you. May I ask who you are? I just curious who will pay so much attention on Raidmax company.

We still welcome you ask any queation anytime.

Best regards

Although his english doesnt seem to be the best(hey, i just copied and pasted the reply 😉 ), he did answer two questions...
whether the 901's will come to the US = NO

And if they are aware of the standoff problem and are trying to fix it = YES

Update.... I checked newegg and it looks like they have pulled the case. I'm thinking there were too many complaints and returns. Raidmax is a good company and will repair this issue. A new case should be released in the coming weeks / months?
