I think that site is getting hammered... I can't see anything, get a page cannot be displayed when I try. :/ I can't even get to the main page.
someone said he/she saved the pages http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1036323791I only got through 2 pages before they took it down. I have to admit that I expected that, but thanks for the link!
nice, so 6870 is like 5870 with 3D display and $150 price cut. nice, if it goes below $200, it would be epic.I could just take snaps of 1 benchmark, the website is getting hammered. COD : MW2
wow overclocking was a joke on the 6870 going from 900/4200 to 954/4344. that's the weakest overclock I have ever seen over standard factory clocks.
news is news and I state the facts whether good or bad. the 6870 looks like a crappy overclocker barely doing 6% so that means if both a gtx460 and 6870 were pushed to their max the gtx460 would almost match the 6870 overall. From what I saw of the review, things are looking especially good for the 6870. Now we just need to see where the retail prices land.

between the 6850 and 6870 I would save 60 bucks and go for the 6850 at this point since it has way more overclocking room. the 6850 and 6870 should be within 10% of each other at max overclocks.Yep looks like they forced the stock clocks up to compete with the gtx 470. The 6850 seems to overclock well enough though. But I guess we will have to wait for unlocked voltages for the final results.

This doesn't look good for people wanting to game in 3d with AMD cards. Luckily I'm not one of those.3D Gaming wise ... AMD waved everything away, and that's where we think AMD HD3D is going to fail.
There are no kits, there is no real driver support within the Catalyst drivers. You can play games in 3D yet you'll need to actively get support for this yourself. Meaning AMD handed out 3D game support to 3rd party vendors. To get 3D Game support you must buy software from a company like DDD (Dynamic Digital Depth), the software implementation costs 50 USD (temporary priced at 25 USD), this will allow you to play games in 3D. Unfortunately these known methods in the past always have proven to be a little icky with lack of native game support. Next to that you'll need to seek and purchase a 3D Monitor with goggles and/or find a kit that provides these.
