First regular season NFL weekend: How'd your team do?

Well, the Falcons look better than last year (not saying much, I know)...offensive line was much improved, running game pretty solid, Brooking was hitting people like they owed him money, good scrambling by Vick (tho his passing was pathetic...nerves I guess). But we got burned on long pass plays again and again. When is Reeves gonna get this issue figured out? I lost count of the number of wide-open recievers SF had during the game. Then we lost in OT after a big play put them in field goal range. Dammit.:|

I won't even discuss the Steelers...I think I just still like them cuz they were my favorite team growing up. Is it too late to bring Lynn Swann out of retirement?

Cowboys D surpised a lot of people but the offense under a new rookie QB needs some serious work.

I saw Rams VS. Eagle yesterday and it was a very interesting game.

I think Rams still have a pretty good chance to repeat.

I'm not sure what will happen with the Cowboys. I'm pulling for Quincy to get his sh*t together and play like he did 2 years ago for UGA (GO DAWGS!!). I know he can do it, but he just looks lost out there right now. 34 yards with 2 INT's is well below what he's capable of. I hope he doesn't end up falling through the cracks with all the pressure to carry the team that Dallas' management is putting on him.

I didn't catch the Dallas/Tampa game, but I did see the highlights. One thing that stood out to me was Emmitt trying to juke out that one DB to get into the end zone. That kind of hesitation is not like the Emmitt I'm used to seeing play. I can only hope it's not a sign of things to come...

Stick a fork in my Titans. They're done. They looked really, really bad.

Yeah it was suprising. When your 220 and the DB is 160 you run the bastard over not try to fake him out.

Ravens kicked some ass, in the 4th quarter that is. The rest of the game was rather disappointing.

let's just say my redskins hat is gonna be hiding in the closet a LOT this year.

I knew it'd be bad, and the team would likely lose to the chargers, but 30-3?! dayum

<< Miami is headed to the Super Bowl!!! 31-23 over the Titans!!! >>

Pretty bold prediction. I agree they looked great and the Titans looked terrible, but Super Bowl?? Doubtful. They'll choke in the playoffs again.

Saints stunk up the joint for the first half, but kicked ass and took names in the second... looking good so far

The Colts offense looked unstopable, yet again, but the improvements they supposedly made to the defense wasn't too apparent yesterday. Hopefully they can sort that out, before the SuperBowl, then they should be fine.

take heart, atlanta's secondary looks worse than it is cause of the niners and rams. comeon these guys do it to everyone. they make everyones secondary look bad and atlanta has to play them each twice. 4 games outta sixteen vs the most potent passing attacks in the nfl, well w/ the possible exception of the Vikings.

Yep! That second half was awesome. For awhile there, it looked like Sammy Knight was playing WR for the Bills. ;) :D

The Pack Attack is Back! Favre looked really sharp, and the Defense played great.
