First real flash animation

Did this in a few hours (including making the image) < revised

It's for a project at school, needs some refinement but I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Awesome work! Are the handles on the clock/watch suppose to go like that? Just thought maybe it went like normal time.

I'm thinking of getting into Flash myself in the next few weeks. Especially the scripting and PHP interface parts are something I wnat to work with.

looks good...

2 suggestions... up the frame rate to 24fps so it looks smoother... and it looks like the animation is looping.... your last frame should have the big had at almost 12 oclock but just slightly to the left.... that way it will continue to go around and wont have that slight pause at noon....

Ok great, I was wondering how to fix the pause. I did the artwork in illustrator and photoshop.


I know the timing is off, gonna fix that when I get a chance.

Not bad, better than a lot of other first time jobs I've seen... even mine when I started a long time ago. Now all you'll have to look forward to are months and months of learning everything Flash has to offer. "Break-in" period sucked... too time consuming.
