The next hot card at a nice price

Bunk the Geforce3, I'm upgrading my GTS to a BLADE 128 XP !

Ok, jokes aside (I have a soft spot for Trident ever since playing doom on my old 1MB VLB trident card)

Seems to be a 150MHz-200MHz core with 166MHz memory, for a fill rate of 300-400MT/s. Inno is clocking it at 166MHz.

Old Press

Ok, so I was bored.

Anybody play with one of these things yet? I have kinda fond memories of my Trident 1MB VLB too - ran everything... *tear* 🙂

For that damn cheap, may be worth it. How does she perform?

Thanks!

That is cheap. I see it is only DX7 compliant. For $48.00 though, they must not have too much faith in it.

I was looking at Inovisions driver page and I notice they have a Kyro II based card out as well.

Look at the drivers that are supplied with it. The "3Deep" drivers feature a "see first, shoot first" feature. I wonder if its Like the Asus drivers where you can see through walls and such.

I have the 3Deep software on my Kyro2. It's just a calibration program that allows you to adjust your monitor. It's supposed to allow you to see the color and and resolution the way it was intended by the progamers of the game, or something like that. I didn't care for it because it subdued the hues too much if you went by the calibration process.

i still have my i meg trident laying around somewhere.......but ahhh a trident card to compete in todays gefofce world..... i dont want to even think about it..........😀

What is it supposed to compete with? A Voodoo 4?

LOL!
