Wow, i like this tabbed browsing thing. I mainly downloaded it to view content of an e-com website i am managing, but this is kind of cool. Maybe if get my favorites moved over, i'll keep using it.

i'd be surprised if there wasn't a bookmark import tool, but i'm not seeing it. i think IE stores bookmarks as a text file.

There is a bookmark import tool when you install... but mozilla did not import my bookmarks properly (it didn't import them at all).... and now I can't find an import tool in the main browser without reinstalling.

Go to 'Bookmarks' > 'Manage bookmarks'. In the new window, go to 'Tools' > 'Import'. Then select the file created by IE when you export bookmarks from it.

I use Mozilla as my main browser and really like it.

IE Favorites (bookmark) are store as HTML files.

I already see something else i want....I want my google search bar tool.
you can use the side bar, or do what I did,

Go to www.google.com and do a search for 'anything' then bookmark the results page.

Now click Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks... now right click the google results entry and select properties.
In the location field, find where the word 'anything' is, and replace it with '%s', and type 'g' into the Keyword field.

When ever you want to do a google search, type 'g search terms' into the address bar and press enter. NOTE: you can press CTRL+ENTER to open the results in a new window.

you can use this technique for a lot of sites. currently I have it set so I can type things such as,
g => google search
f => froogle search
news => news.google.com search
image => google images search
whois => a whois lookup
netcraft => netcraft lookup
and several others.
