I just bought an ati x700 pro 256 from frys along with an a8n e asus board and 3500. The onbaord lan seems to have crapped out and im now looking at the dfi lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D.
Anyways ill try and stay on topic here. I see that there is an msi card from zip zoom fly for 200, the x800 pro, which is the same that i paid for my ati x700 pro. My question is: what is the difference between the cards besides companies waranties and such. Im referring to performance differences. I thought that toms hardware only reviewed ati's cards so I bought an ati thinking it would be of higher quality. Can someone please shed some light on this manufacturing confusion?
