Actually, GF3's aren't as constrained by the RAM as much as GF2 cards, since they have some bandwidth saving technology in them. They get a boost both from the core and the RAM when oc'ing.
BTW the Poseidon cools both the gpu and the RAM on the card. At least that's what it says on the page and what is shown in the picture.
 

at first I thot they would have special holes in their GF3 card, but they say it'll mount on any card so they
must glue it on. I've used arctic silver adhesive, and man it REALLY holds stuff once it sets.

It looks like this waterblock overs only the GPU core and has normal ramsinks. The other waterblock covers both the GPU core and the ram.
