What is disturbing to me is that(even though both are great players) both of them get so many damm calls.
It was funny watching the game last night with dallas leading by 1 and 9 secs left.
I told everyone that Wade will drive to the basket and get fouled.
You can't even try to play good defense anymore.
You touch the hair on one of these guys and its a foul.

I find it amusing how the Mavs whine yet they made it to the finals by playing their own pussified brand of ball. People have apparently forgotten the 9234823482348 free throws that Dirk shot against the Spurs, including one game where I believe the mavs got like 60 FTs to the spurs 15. Anyways, gonna go hide now before Mavs fans flame me.

You can blame Stern for that. He has offset the balance of the game by putting too much power into the hands of the offensive players. He wants to see super high scoring games and has since changed the rules so that hard defensive players are handicapped anymore.

There was a LBJ vs Wade thread the other day.

I still say Lebron. He's more consistent. He has a better basketball IQ. I believe he'll have a longer career...Wade just sacrafices his body FAR too often and that'll hurt him as he ages a bit. I think Lebron is just a better player to build a team around.

That being said, Wade is much better one on one player and has far more flash & dazzle athletic talent. Lebron is just incredibly strong and can finish plays with his power.

I actually think that both Lebron and Wade get hit a lot in games but that lebron is bigger & stronger and so it's harder for someone to knock him off his feet compared to wade

What? So the theory is that wade should just take his licks and have his shot altered and result in a miss? A guy steps into him as he's running toward the basket, another guy pushes him a bit in the back, combined you get a miss. If that shouldn't be called a foul then it might as well be footketball and Kenyon Martin would be MVP of the league. By those rules, only shaq is a legitimately good player, because he can make the basket while being fouled hard. Maybe paul pierce too.
