kids may be starving, but heh at least they'll have cheap laptops.
Yeah... I wonder how many kids will steal these laptops from schools and sell them for food?

You know what's going to end up happening? People who don't "need" this (like 100% of ATOT) are going to buy it. This will either put a strain on supply that would otherwise go to those who are in need, or puch prices above the pricepoint at which those in need could afford it. You can't fvck with economics.
I don't think they're going to be available for general purchase.

The better question to ask is "Why does dartworth think that NFS4 is being an ass?".

We can't get food to the starving people of 3rd world countries, how do we expect to get laptops to them? This will end up being a profitable product, and it WILL be marketed to the masses (whether it be through copycats or not).

Why do people automatically assume 3rd world means starving children in mud huts living in africa? There are dozens of third world countries that has industrialized but hasn't gone high tech yet. India, for example, has many places where people cannot afford laptops, but yet can be well fed.
