The original Wolfenstein 3D made me sick to my stomach. I don't have the slightest idea what video chipset the computer was using, but it was an old POS at school that didn't even run windows...it was strictly DOS based and ran a menu system called "PS MENU".

I had this problem with Duke Nukem, and have after some time of CSing. Battlefield 1942 on the other hand doesn't give me nausea.

Try not to focus too hard on the game. Look elsewhere once in awhile and not play them in long hours.

You know that kid on the Simpsons that everyone hates cause he pukes on every bus trip? That's you. Except you do the same thing playing video games, too.

This happens to a lot of people. It has nothing to do with your vision. Like pillage2001 said, the best solution seems to just break up your playing time and hope you grow out of it eventually.

Turning off 'weapon bob' should help significantly with that problem.

My friends the same way, he noticed that if he drinks a couple beers before playing he can play forever.

this happens to me when playing the old shooters...anything that has a poor 3d engine or 3d hardware playing a 3d game makes me nauseated..

I play CS ALL the time and I'm fine, but RTCW and MOHAA get me queasy. Halo doesn't, though :)

Turok2 does that to me, especially when reaching the top of a ladder. Iv'e noticed on occassion that watching someone else play FPS games causes nausea as well, but that's probably because they're doing it wrong! :D
