First overclocking attempt 2.4ghz-->2.88ghz... need help for more!

I have a pentium 4 2.4-B chip and I have it running stably at 2.88ghz by raising the FSB to 160.

I tried going to 165fsb but the system just barely freezes on booting.. I can tell it's not as bad each time when I raise the vcore by .0125, and got the vcore to 1.5375 (still locks up but noticebly less so if that makes sense).. I didnt know how safe it is to go with the vcore. I dont want to burn the chip up. About what should I take it to and still be safe?

Any other recommendations? This is my very first overclocking attempt (altho I have been working with computers for over 10 years) 😛

check out some of the p4p800 threads in the motherboard sections as there may be optimal settings you may want to use when running "b" chips (533fsb) on these i865/i875 mobos...
