I started OC'ing my RAM 2 days ago, and that wasn't enough, so I bumped it down to 166 and upped my HTT to 240. I am now running at 2400mhz on a Winnie with stock HSF, stock thermal compound, and stock everything. I am sure I can go higher, but that's not a bad result for stock volatage also. CPU also runs at same temp as before, 91F - 93F idle. Prime95 for 5 hours 0 errors, going to do more time tonight. Let me know what you think!

Haha, thankfully I dont think Ive killed a piece of hardware because of it. Only reformatted a bunch of times due to drive corruption. I was like a madman when I was overclocking this Venice. But keep at it and just be careful and Im sure you can go further, even try dropping your ram to 133 if it will let you up your FSB closer to 300.

Nice OC shimmishim, You want to trade ram????

It is addictive. It is incurable and never goes away. There is no treatment!

well thats good news. I'm planning on getting the same motherboard as you and same CPU only with a Vinice core.

Yeah it took literally no effort. I got into the BIOS, Cell Menu, went to HTT and hit PG UP until it hit 240.. turned the RAM to 166mhz, and done.

Funny huh... its been that easy for years now. Image what a tad bit of research can do for ya.

But overclocking the ram is the most fun ;)

Overclocking if very fun and addictive. So far I've overclocked all my computers, my car, my lawmower, and my weedwacker. Now I'm working on the microwave:eek:
