I'm fixing to attempt my first over clocking on a Athlon XP system. Ill post some specific specs. I've read the overclocking thread but I was wondering if I could get some info for my specific system. For example I cant use Nvidias ntune softwware due to my non nforce motherboard. Basicall If you could suggest a specific list of software particularly for monitoring and what the best software to perform the actual overclock. Also a few walkthroughs online would help.

I dont wnat to do anything crazy (mainly just wanting to experiment) I will be using stock cooling on everything.

Athlon XP 3000+

CPU Core=1.630v

Samsung 512mb DDR
Pc 2700
PSU
MGE Vigor 400w
Specifications:
? 115 / 230V 50-60Hz

i love those 1960s mustangs. your one lucky ____ :)

back to the topic: with your temps already at 57C, there isn't much headroom for you to really overclock unless you get better cooling. I'm guessing ist the 3000+ barton? only way to overclock is via bios and raising the fsb

I appreciate all the compliments. About my overclocking I was afraid that my temp was a little high. SHould I still be able to OC my video card? or are the temps to high for that as well. Can anyone post a few links to some guides to do that? THanks again for the compliments and for the help
