I'll watch it but have no desire to make a mad dash to the theater on opening weekend like I did for the first two.

I'm seeing it tomorrow morning at 10:00. Work rented out a theater so not only do I get a free half day off from work but the theater won't be over crowded and I don't have to stand in line.

dont get me wrong, there are real bad movies out there, but the fact that these fvcks get paid for doing nothing but to comment and nitpick on the hard work of others. make me sad and mad.

Yup.

#1 He's too concerned over the marketability of Hayden Christensen as a teen idol to make him the brutal narcissist he was in ANH.

#2 He was to staple some kind of relevence to the series by throwing in some paltry political parallelism so that there's actually something to read into the films and he can feel all deep and subtle like a REAL writer/director.

I watched the last 20 minutes of Phantom Menace yesterday. That removed any desire I have to see the new one.

And I used to love Star Wars.

no kidding. Movies, like all forms of art, are subjective. Aside from that, a movie is supposed to be entertaining. It doesn't have to have deep plot lines, hidden meanings and all sorts of crap like that to do it's job.
