First no-hitter in a while!!!

The pitching has been spectacular the past week or so. Zito had a no-no going into the 8th, that other guy had a no-no into the ninth, and the other day there were 7 shutouts in the league..

Anibal freakin Sanchez...amazing! Those spunky Marlins play hard for their manager and they have some good, young pitching.

Here is the boxscore for the game.

<sigh> will the mets ever get a no hitter in my lifetime.. </sigh>

HAHAHAH.. I started Sanchez today!!! I picked him from free agency yesterday too..

WTF...did you make a deal with the devil or what?

I had the Unit when he had his perfect game two years ago, but he was awesome all year, so it was a no-brainer for me.

I'm like like that.. shrug.. My offense consists of A-Rod (#1 pick), Soriano (3rd round), Howard (6th round) and Sheffield (DL, but 2nd round).

I also drafted LJ last year and he won me my work $1000 league. 😀

Couple of years ago, I drafted LT and Gates as rookies, and boy did they pay off.

I'm a lifelong Marlin fan, I must say the team doesn't deserve to be playing in Miami. The attendance is pathetic, the fans down here are pathetic especially given how hard this nearly all rookie team has played
