Edwards is the Truth. Good trade, seems best for both parties.

Ah, yet another Wolverine #1 pick. That kid was magic, but too bad it wasn't enough to win more during the season. (or postseason)

Heh. It doesn't matter who the Chargers get. Marty is your coach. You'll make the playoffs a few more times, but only to choke.

Well I believe Rivers is better than any of the QB's you could draft (Alex Smith, Aaron Rogers) so I would do it if I were the 49ers... but for the Chargers, I know Brees played well but I think last year was his best year. I think Brees could repeat the performance but not surpass it. And trading up to pick a WR at #1 overall? I don't know about that.

I agree. A WR with the #1 pick would be a lot of money to sign yet another #1 pick. But I guess with the money they would have spent on Rivers they would spend on Edwards. But still that's a ton of signing bonus they dropped to have Rivers hold out of camp and sit on the bench for 1 year.

The Chiefs were dissapointing, but we will be ready to go this year. Kansas City and San Diego will fight for the division title, whilest the Faiders and the Browncos will fight for the bottom.

Im sure the 49ers would want at least one of the Charger's first round picks. They have one plus 1 from the Giants for Eli Manning.
