Just logged into my Amazon account to track a package ordered via Prime 2 day. Everything should have arrived today, but it didn't. Figuring it was Saturday, it might come Monday, I don't really care.

But on a hunch, I looked up the tracking info, and saw notes saying attempted delivery yesterday (I was home all day) and that it was actually delivered today - it wasn't lol. My next door neighbors haven't received anything either. I was home all day today anyway...

Kind of a bummer, but how am I going to resolve this? I am going to go ahead and call them tomorrow, but am wondering how annoying it will be.

It's about $90 worth of stuff.

Wait a few days. If it doesn't show up, just do an online chat with customer service and they'll refund or place a replacement order for you.

see if it shows up monday. If not, then file a claim. You'll likely have to sign for future shipments from now on.

jesus dude call them first then post if you have a problem.

With prime you are sort of taking a risk since they are leveraging both having a warehouse near you and trusting USPS will meet the 2 day mark from it.

Sadly in the end Priority mail is not guaranteed. I have had a package take 30 days to arrive a few states away.

That doesn't bug me. I'll wait until Monday.

This is exactly why I stopped trading on FS/FT and taking part in the secret Santa threads. I always have some sort of issue when trying to get something mailed to me. lol

Problems can occur when you try to be stingy. An extra buck or two solves such issues. Better handling and honest tracking.

It's Amazon. If it's not there on Monday, give them a call and explain. They have ridiculously good customer service, just don't take advantage or they'll cut you off.

Not guaranteed either. All they need is "someone" to sign for it and they (USPS) insinuate no further liability. In fact, most of my packages that are sent "signature confirmation" aren't even signed. They just tack on the last name of the recipient for the package.

Unless package carriers start requiring a scan of a drivers license/ID, no system will be safe from mistakes and corrupt people.

The order of things to do should be this;

1) Don't bother contacting Amazon, the company you bought the product from.
2) Don't bother contacting USPS, the company who were delivering it to.
3) Ask random strangers on the Internet what to do as someone might post a soothing lolcat picture.

Email amazon. They will send a replacement for free, probably next day. And you shouldn't have to sign for stuff in the future, at least I haven't.

Or you can call them at: 1-866-216-1072 .. you usually get a customer service rep in less than 2 minutes and they have solved any issues I have ever had with orders.

I seriously doubt the postal employees stole your iPhone.

If you didn't insure your package that was just stupid.
