I have began to download Red Hat 7.2 and this will be the first time that I will install or ran Linux. I have downloaded 3-4 manuals off the site and the installtion seems to be easy.

I have a Maxtor 40gb Master with a 4gb partition for Windows XP and a 33gb for data. I also have a WD 18 gb 5400 as a Slave. From what I have read, I will just have to create a Linux partition to hdb.

But I still don't know how to configure the Dual booting correctly so that I can still boot into Windows and than Linux at anytime.

Thanks for any help!

Sorry, AndyHui.

So I would type "dd if=/dev/hdb0 of=/bootsect.lnx bs=512 count=1"
