That's a pretty broad statement, care to revise it ?

A religion that has no problems with their priests molesting young boys is probably totally unconcerned with matters such as cloning.

Revised enough? :p

Edit - Just so you'll understand, I know their position on cloning/etc/stem cells/whatever. Think before you flame, and make sure to use your Humour and Sarcasm Detectors. Thanks.

No it's not religion that is to blame. It is people that believe so much in releigion that they forget that we are all people first.

I'd never flame anyone for eating peppermint candy. Spearmint on the other hand ... oooh, don't get me started on spearmint.

I believe scientists have created embryos in the past from cloning, but this will be the first fully developed baby.

e said it was a boy, adding that he had made a "scientific and cultural contribution" to the project but was not personally in charge.

IB its his clone.....also there will be problems if it were taken from an older person. Just like Dolly, it will age faster than normal since it will have the genes of an older person.

Edit: I see our first clone maybe a terrorist....
In April, he was quoted in Rome's Il Tempo newspaper as saying that the most developed of the three fetuses came from the cell of a wealthy Arab man.
hehe Im j/k of course. :D

Wonder how it's immune system is gonna turn out.

I love science myself, but cloneing just brings up a lot of questions for me.
