It's been available for several months now.

I kinda like them, though I'm not too fond of the rubberized interior.

I saw one the other day. They're just as ugly in person as they are in the commercials.

I hope that eyesore isn't the start of a trend at Honda!

I don't know why anyone would buy that car. There was a kid at my school who has one, and everyone thought it was ugly and asked him why he bought it. And we're all 17-18 year old guys, Honda's target market. He didn't even really know why he bought it.

I learned from the KROQ Element Giveaway contest that the Element has loads of interior space, has water resistant seats/floor, seats can lay flat for a bed, lotsa speakers, etc. I can't remember what else, but so far, that sounds pretty useful, especially if you go outing.

that's one honda i wouldn't buy (if i even had the money). saw one the other day. not as bad in person as in pics (true for all hondas), but still not exactly a thing of beauty.

Someone (aptly) remarked that this POS should come with a sticker, "When I grow up I want to be a hearse."

I saw it few days ago.

I don't like its look.. it's like a box.........
but it's very practical..... can put so many things in it!

I've seen them a few times. Everytime I'm in a car with somebody and we see one, they're like "My god that thing is ugly, what is that?"

I agree with them. Honda's answer to the Aztek, another disgusting vehicle design.

I'm not too keen on the boxy look, but the features, interior, and amount of room is amazing. I would definitely consider that for my next vehicle.

I've seen a few around town, looks like a jeep took a dump on a hummer and got the wheels from a PT Cruser transplanted.

Girlfriend actually bought one of these, 2nd one in NC, sight unseen.
Has 3 large dogs(tons of space-easy to clean), we do a lot of camping(seats fold down into bed), live at the beach(AWD gets job done in sand), and yea it is kinda butt ugly but boy is it practical. Stereo ROCKS
Gas mileage is decent, she had a jeep before this. does a ton of driving and says it's really comfortable

Saw one of these several months ago @ Honda dealership, one of the salespeople bought one, it was pretty cool, I thought the engineering that went into making the seats so versatile was very impressive, I think Jeep finally has some competition for it's 4 cylinder Wrangler.

Generation 2 of the Element will be interesting as well, I expect Honda to drop the body cladding soon, or @ least offer it as an option.

Doesn't Honda like a 4 year product cycle?
