First Guns n Roses concert in 3 years last night

Too bad the 'new' GNR isnt the one I saw in 1993 that headlined with Metallica @ Texas Stadium.

You had thousands upon thousands of headbangers in the stadium bouncing their heads forward and back to the beat.

Good times.

but, anyways, at least Axl sounds like he got his voice back
If he only sang at one show a week, his voice would be okay. But if he starts touring, he'll be back to croaking like a frog in about 3 shows, max.

Axl's voice is a mere shadow of what it once was in the 80's....not surprising. Not many singers that screech like he does, and then do drugs and smoke can maintain their voices as they age.
See: Robert Plant, David Lee Roth (not a high voice, but his trademark scream is gone)

If anyone has the old boots from in England of GnR doing It's So Easy, Knockin' On Heaven's Door and Whole Lotta Rosie....now that's when he could really do it live.
He hasn't been able to do that since GnR got popular.
