First grilled burger of the season

Broke out the grill for the first time this year today. I always forget how good that first hamburger tastes. Man, why on earth do I ever go to a restaurant? Everything I make myself is so much better than anything I can order, and I can get a rare burger when I make it myself.

To everyone else who had the day off and could grill out today:

Still the first grilling out of the winter. 😛

54 degrees and sunny here in Seattle today. Simply gorgeous.

Wait, was this charcoal or propane?
Weber charcoal of course. I know that there are other kinds of grills, but I've never been able to understand why... 😛

yopu know, I am weird...I'd rather have a griddle burger than a grilled burger. Nothing tastier than your good old diner-style burger.

Thats why I can't wait for this trip to be over. It's in the 60-70's back home and I am stuck in 20-30's. 🙁

I charcoal grill all winter long. I always make sure when I'm snowblowing to open up a patch on the patio for the grill.

Just did about 20 lbs. of chicken breast last weekend and steaks the weekend before that.
