I am looking to either build, or have a pre built gaming PC for about 2,000-2,500$ This is a future build for me so there is plenty of time for me to get the parts and plan ahead, this will probably take about a year to complete due to my income, and I am buying in the US, more than likely from http://amazon.com and http://newegg.com. I mainly plan on using this build for Black Desert Online, as well as other newer titles such as but not limited to, The Witcher 3 and GTA V. I hope to achieve 60 fps and higher, but as long as it stays above 30 AT ALL TIMES I will be a happy man. I would prefer to have an Nvidia GPU and Intel CPU that isn't total overkill. As far as storage I have already decided on a 240GB SSD for main and a 1TB HD for secondary. I hope to play at 1080p or higher, but still have not chosen a monitor (suggestions are welcome, preferably larger than 26'). I do not plan on overclocking, but having the ability to do so in the future is always welcome.

Thank you for the help in advance, and I look forward to the replies!
If there is any more information you need just let me know, and I will be more than happy to supply an answer!

Thank you, I did not see that post :p I guess I should have looked around a bit, I am just rather excited about getting a plan in place!

No problem. Just take your time, read a few posts in this section because 75% of them are of the "I want to build a computer for $XXX and need help selecting parts". There are some stickies at the top of this section where the moderator of this section actually posts his recommended builds.

Part of building your own computer is you get to select parts to make it perfect for your use. However, since you are building your own, it is helpful to read about the components so you understand their pros and cons. Like "Do I want a z170 or h170 motherboard?", "Do I want the computer case that has the best cooling regardless of the noise, or do I want a quiet case that sacrifices some of the cooling performance for quietness?". If you want a Nvidia card, the video card section is where you can go to see what all the hype is about on the new GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 cards.

www.pcpartpicker.com is a great website where you can start to build a rough draft of the computer. That way over the year, you can change the parts until you have decided and are ready to place your order.

Good luck, and remember it's a marathon, not a race ;)
