Okay guys im pretty sure there is no "correct" answer, but i don't even know which company/brand name to start with, or where to even start looking so ill just list what i want my laptop to be able to do:
It will primarily be used for gaming/downloading movies/music and whatnot, but primary function of the thing is to run games...these specific ones at the intended settings, and my budget for the laptop is between $800-$1500, $1700(Absolute MAX, don't want to get here but i will if i have to ):
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm: Ultra High Settings
WarHammer Online: Highest Settings, dont mind if not absolute highest
Crysis: As high as a laptop can go
Guild Wars 2
Starcraft 2: Ultra Settings
Hope this helps out, i know gaming laptops don't come cheap, and they are also a lot harder to custom build than a desktop ( my current desktop can run all these games at ultra settings and not even break a sweat 🙂 ) thats why im asking for aid, even just a place to start....i have aa graphical preference which i would like for it to be ATI, BUT, its not a deal breaker for me if there is no ATI (sorry 'AMD') for whatever setup, im fine with NVidia, just a preference in terms of i know how to deal with ATI drivers, and just didn't want to have to relearn the updating/re'DLing driver process is all...a camping fanboy i am not 🙂
