I don't really plan to overclock, which is why Im going with the 3500+. Saying that, I realize the board may be overkill, but I like the features. After ruling out DFI, I narrowed the boards down to MSI and ASUS, and went with the MSI. I also already have the Corsair 1GB VS ram here at home, another reason not going with the DFI. Don't need SLI either.

Some questions:
1. Is that a full version of Windows XP? Meaning i can install it on a fresh hard drive.

2. Wanted to keep the PS under $100, would that one work with the board and other components?

Any thing I am missing?

All for now, thanks again. Sorry for the length, wanted to be as descriptive as possible.

System overall looks good.

1. That is the full version of Windows
2. That PS should work good.

Very nice setup. Looks live you've done your homework. 🙂

1) YES. That is a full version of XP.
2) PSU is a good choice. Should suit all the other components there.

If anything the PSU is overkill for what you need it for. You could save a bit and go for one of the slightly lessor Antec PSUs. I use a Neopower 480W which is great and I have more kit coming off of it than you will.
