Too bad the old Dodge P/U's were so BUTT UGLY.

ya, they maybe ugly, but they were very tuff. I knew people that had them( not the hot rod model)when I was young. there were blow proof

push button trannies too

the 1979 or so dodge little red express pickup with highperformance 360 engine? but now we have the 500 horse dodge hot rod pickup

Compare it to other cars of that era. The pickups were lighter than sedans back then.

that link doesn't work for me for some reason, but I saw a blurb on Trucks! about the Dodge "Dude." I'm not finding too much information about it on the net, but the Trucks! guy talked about it like it was one of the first sportier trucks.
