Like the pint-sized SLK roadster, the Mercedes C350 comes standard with a six-speed manual, which is a major upgrade over the old six-speed gearbox. Nice, but they say little about how it handles. How it goes through the twisties and how the car FEELS is where the C has always failed next to the 3.

The C has always been soft and disconnected.

Exactly. I'd still rather have the 3 over the C and WTF? You can't get a 4Matic w/stick?

But the new 3 looks like ass. I'd take the C...or a G35...or an A4. Hell, I'd take just about anything over the new 3.

The C is much better looking than the 3, IMO. I wonder if Mercedes has done anything to resolve the nagging quality issues that have been associated with the brand.
