Wow, that reviewer really loved it. I like the amenities, but it looks sooo much like the CTS that the first time I saw it a few months ago, I had to look again to make sure it wasn't just a stretched CTS.

Not bad.

The dash looks like something from a Cavalier but the rest of the interior is ok. I'm sure the seats are nice.

Would have been nice if they used the I6 w/270HP instead of the V6 though.

I liked this part...

"available all-wheel drive" and "With 320 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque" :)

It also looks very good. The CTS has grown on me but first looks at this is really nice. 1 please :)

It kind of reminds me of a 300c for some reason. Looks good overall but that steering wheel - is that a throwback to the '60s or something?

Agreed. :)

I will never buy a Cadillac again. Too many problems.

... how long ago was this?

Cadillac has come a LONG way in recent years.

It was a '94 Sedan De Ville...Both it and a '95 Mustang GT developed engine problems before 50K miles.

I have owned a '84 Toyota Corolla, '89 Nissan 240SX and a '96 Nissan Maxima all of which (including my current car - the Maxima) have over 100K and never needed more then regular maintenence.

Yeah. The i6 from the Trailblazer would have been nice.

HEHEHEHEHEHEHE:p

Yet as a senior executive on the STS project privately acknowledged, "we still have a ways to go." The flat, black plastic that dominates the center stack inserts the same, boring feel of a base Chevrolet. Even Toyota's Scion tC offers a more sophisticated appearance for its audio and climate control units, more like something from Bang & Olufsen than Wal-Mart.

Cool, when the used ones are selling for $20,000 in 2 years, it will be something to look into.

Awesome car. The back of it is just beautiful. You'd have to be hitting the peace pipe pretty hard to think this just looks like a stretched CTS.

Seems weird to think that my two favorite luxury mobiles are domestics - STS and 300C.

How can they say the Bose system may be better than the Mark Levinson?
Easy for them to say when they've actually heard both systems. Have you heard the Bose system in the new STS? Please scale back the melodrama until you can form a valid opinion about both systems.

I have not but then again I have one in my MDX and my best friend has the latest one in his 04 TL. We both agree they sound sh!tty.

I had a GS300 without the Levinson package and even the stock stereo sounded ^* better than the Boses.
