i really like mazda 3 & 6. i will wait another year or two before considering one though as who knows the long-term reliability.

Ford sucks, but Mazda is ok because at least the design departments must be seperate, or maybe they are all seperate? Just the same top management maybe? ;)

I really can't fault the 6 that much, I mean comon, a twin turbo version of its motor powers the Noble M12. I think the drivetrain is solid, however, in the market that its playing in, I think it could use some more power.

I just don't get much from the 3 myself. Just preferences...

The 6 hatch is an excellent excution of providing the convenience of a hatch without making it look like a hatch. The wagon is very sharp too. Mazda did an awesome job on all three of the 6 variants as well as the 3's.

I've driven a loaded 6 sedan with V6 and MT and a loaded 3 5-door with MT. The 3 just felt sportier and zippier to me, more nible. But compared to a Camry, the 6 wins hands down.

my hope is cars like this and subarus will make honda reintroduce the accord wagon. with the 240 HP V6 and the six-speed, an accord wagon would be seriously cool.

Only with the RL's AWD system...
