First Drive: 2004 Jaguar XJ

Hmm, still don't know what to think about the "new" Jags. The underlying stuff is all different, but they keep the same body style. I guess they're taking, "don't fix if it ain't broke" and running with it.

Still, I don't find it compelling over it's market segment competitors. BMW & Audi is more sporty, MB is still more luxurious.

That wouldn't surprise me.. Jag wasnt exactly known to be "quality" before. elegant looks, but nothing else really.

My dad was looking at this XJ to replace his Mercedes S420. What's the MSRP on this one?
