It was in this month's R&T too. R&T really liked it, said it was even better than the WRX (the non-STi WRX).

Is that spoiler pictured the small one?? I would hope not. I think the car looks awesome if it had a smaller spoiler, half-size or something. And it has the performance to match it! That would be a fun car to drive around here in the winter too!!

I know that it's making 271HP, but damn - 19psi? I posted a link today of a freaking minivan putting down more HP than that to the wheels at the same boost level

Yeh, but what was the displacement? This is only from a 2.0L. The WRX STi is going to have a 2.5L under the hood.

Yeah I'd rather have a 350z. RWD, not FWD with tacked on RWD, and a 350z will actually get you laid!

Yeah but this is Mitsubishi we are talking about. How long before you think that 2.0 w/ 19psi is going to run into troubles. Vs the 2.5 putting out the same hp.

Smaller w/ more forced induction ISN'T always better. It allows them to put cheaper components in there, but still charge what i'd cost them to put a 2.5 or 3.0 in there.

It out corners and out accelerates the 350Z though, and at a similar price point.

R&T tested one, it pulls almost one lateral G, runs 13.8, has a 5 year powertrain warranty and has an MSRP of just under 30. I remember reading at least one rag saying this car is so hardcore, that people who buy this car should take a race driving course.

If dealer markup falls off fast, I might consider getting one. Preferably in silver and the optional smaller spoiler. It's too bad you can't take out the hood scoops or else you'd have one heck of a sleeper.

Pfffffffffffffffffff. I'd take a 350Z anyday. The EVO looks like a $14,000 Lancer on crack. I'll take the pure sports car hand down.

The Lancer VII looked better than Lancer VIII. I think the looks/performance specs are awesome, but... spending $30k on a Mitsubishi... no.

In every measurable way, the Evo is superior. It's faster in a straight line and it sticks to the road harder.

Speed isn't everything. A Viper SRT-10 is faster than a Z06, but that doesn't mean that the SRT-10 is the better car.

If you feel fine paying $30,000 for a $14,000 car with so go fast goodies on it, then fine. I'd prefer the better looking, better built 350Z. Besides, the only people that will know what you are driving are people that play Gran Turismo or glance at car mags. Everyone else will think you're some punk ass ricer (which would be about 20% true

Since you're buying a car that's slower in every way just because it'll get you more attention, doesn't that make you another kind of ricer?? :Q

You guys keep talking about the 350z but I'm one of those who would rather get a G35 if I was to spend around ~30k.
