The ass-end dosn't cut it for me :)

But the front has a nice smrik to it.. I like it!
220hp will do it pretty good as it doesn't look too large..

<< Someone please give this poor bastard a face lift and an interior redesign :) Otherwise, it's a VERY solid platform with a dated engine:Q >>

Custom interior is 10000000000 Times cooler then ANY stock interior anyway, take it to a custom shop and make it kick some booty.

Likewise. If I had to summarize the style of that car in one word, especially
when viewed from behind, I'd say: butch.

I agree the A$$ end is always important to me too, especially since thats the side everyone sees all the time anyway :D ;)

I've heard that Bob Lutz had the front and rear design of the final CTS changed after Cadillac showed him the final design (as shown in the Edmunds photo). So maybe it'll look alittle better. :)

yeah, i've seen a couple around Troy, and saw one on the lot of some frat a few weeks ago. Looked nice, very non-traditional-caddy-like.

Not that I'll be buying one anytime soon. ^_^

Umm, by the time Lutz joined GM, the CTS was already finalized. Maybe you're talking about an upcoming redesign?:Q

WTF is wrong with GM and Cadillac? First they drop a great platform in favor of lame ass FWD, now they're back to RWD again! TARDS! :disgust:

I just don't like the styling at all. The worst part about it is that just about all of Caddy's new cars are going to have a similar grille.

They're going to have to do better than that to take my business away from Germany or Japan.

There will probably be a year 2 "refreshining", like GM did with the Aztek.

I reread the article again and it's the new '04 Seville STS, not the CTS.

http://www.autonews.com/article.cms?articleId=37249&a=a&bt=lutz

"Zarrella told of Lutz's first glimpse of the Cadillac STS, due in model year 2004. "We had pretty much finished the design," Zarrella said. "He said, 'You guys can make this a lot better by doing a few relatively minor things.' "

At Lutz's urging, the "tumblehome"- the degree to which the vehicle tapers inward from the beltline to the roof, when seen from the front or rear - was increased and the taillights were redesigned. "You listen to it, and it doesn't sound like much, but it improved the car," Zarrella said."
