First Day On The Job..

Well.. i landed a job at a place called retail data systems.. they put in computer systems for restaurants.. mostly fast food. What a tiring day. THeres a HUGE amount of stuff to learn.. and very fast. Today i burned an EPROM and stuck it in a register.... then cleared some RAM chips and flashed a program into em and installed in the register. Learned to wire the mini printers and edit a touch screen menu. Theres options galore on this things and its pretty much 1's/2's/and 4's in empty spots doing programming. Kinda interesting tho. My computer knowledge really helps out. And they invited me to the x-mas party on friday at dave and busters!

yeah.. xmas is over.. but a lot of places (especially ones that are SUPER busy like this during holidays) have their party afterwards

well.. pay is 23k a year right now + health (which is tiny but not to horrible for a 19 year old) with chance of raise to 25k or more very soon.. plus in about 3 months i'll be good enough to be the on-call man.. which makes you an extra 500 bucks a week for every week of on call.. u can be on call about twice every 3 months.. so thats hypotheticly an extra 4k a year too.. so thats almost at 30k withint a few months... and.. a nice spot on the resume

Lol.. yes.. i can do much MUCH more then a 2 cent 20 piece tho.... but i cant go into that

hehe, actually today i was programming touch screens.. was doing some cool things.. like a little countdown of sideitems for the meals... so when it says pick 3... and you pick one... it changes to pick 2.. cool stuff, but tough to program
