I've never worked there, but I'm on my second day at my new job and it's looking very very promising. Congrats on the new job! What, specifically, will you be doing there?

I'm waiting for installation of RH to finish on a crash box to test an install of some commerce software. This is priority number one and the boss doesn't want me working on anything else until I get it done. Neener neener!

Both stores are very overpriced. With an internet connection, a credit or debit card, and a little patience, there's no reason to buy from BestBuy or CircuitCity unless you simply cannot wait for the product to be shipped to you.

The last time I was at Circuit City I was asking about some cheap eMachine for my brother and wanted to know if it had an AGP port so that I could install a decent videocard in it and the CC guy's response was "I think so and if it doesn't you can just install an AGP port with an addon card." :roll:

I worked there in '98 from Sep - Dec. Oddly enough I am working there part time again this season. The only good thing about it is that I'm not selling this time -- I'm a PC Technician. Just get ready for loooong hours and much BS. Other than that you'll be fine.

Actually, saying "AGP port" is very common, even though the P stands for port itslef.
