SR is currently testing a Cheetah 15k.5. 135MB/s max sustained, 82.6 MB/s minimum. Both numbers crush the previous leader Atlas 15k II (97.4-74.4MB/s). Oddly enough, the Cheetah puts up some abysmal workstation performance making one think there is something wrong with the drive, or the firmware is really detuned for single user applications, as the multi-user performance is pretty good.
