What is a good car around the 7-9,000 dollar figure for a first car>?

Honda Accord is always popular -- cheap and run well even with high mileage. You could probably get a 98 EX in your price range, or even a later model LX or DX if you don't want the leather/sunroof.

1990 Nissan 300ZX if possible to find. LOL....just kidden......I started off w/ 96 toyota camry, eventually hooked it up w/ subs, speaker system, new head unit.......got rid of it tho.......now I drive Mercedes SLK230......1998.......SWEET!
