Was just driving along, 50mph in a 55mph 4 lane road, and this blue escape decides to cut me off. I slammed my brakes, and tried swerving off to that road to the right, but it was in vane, probably doing about 30 at the time of collision. Needless to say, here's an explanation. Paint.

Guy driving the Escape was about 75.

My airbags went off. I had it towed to my dad's house because he fixes wrecked cars.

Here's my car before this accident :(.

What was the dude driving 75+?

I don't think any roads in the U.S allow speeds faster than 70 MPH.

ugh, Texas has 80mph speed zones, and the guy that he hit was 75, not how fast he was going.

I don't think your dad is going to be fixing it, I would be surprised if it's not totaled. Try to take it easy for a few days b/c you're probably going to be pretty sore tomorrow.

Who did the police cite?

There's no way the police won't side with him on this one. If *nothing* else the other guy failed to yield to the traffic on the larger road.

Its already a salvage car fixed once. Best bet is he gets as much as possible and does a buy back and fixs it up again. Might come out ahead if his dad is fixing it. But will have almost no real value in my book. 1 Salvage is enough, let alone 2.

question is who hit who?

people cut people off, but honestly if i get cut off and i get in an accident, that sounds like i got cut off and i rear-ended him.

even if the driver sucks and didn't judge speeds coming on, itll be an uphill battle for me because i was behind him....

If it works well enough I'd just drive it into the ground.

Depends on where the OP struck the Escape. For the Escape to roll like that I think it was still on an angle and probably got struck on the passenger side rear causing it to flip. If it was a straight "front to rear" collision, the OP's vehicle would be evenly damaged all the way across and the Escape would have just been bumped from behind, not tipped over as if from the side.

Or maybe after the accident the OP kirked out and flipped over the old man's car but couldn't get the match lit before the cops came. I guess we'll never know.

Damn, hope you are ok.

Was the guy in the escape alright? That doesn't look like a comfortable position to be in after an accident.
