I started my first build today. And i ...cut myself jeez. I was trying to push a CD rom drive into position and it slipped and flew out the other side. in the process i managed to cut myself. I am very discouraged now and hope my comptuer will be ok in the end. I have the Mobo and Cpu install. All i have left is the DVD-R, CD drive, Memory and sound card. I did ruin that CD-R tho..that sucks :(

ah man.

My case bit me one time... I was taking out the original I/O shield man that was a bitch... it pinched my finger to the point where it cut me and intially a lot of blood appeared but it subsided really fast. Subsiquint I/O shield changes haven't been nearly as hard meaning Antech put it on too tight grrr >.<

I got my pinky finger stuck in between the removable mobo tray and the case a couple hour ago. Thre was blood, but I quickly cleaned it off the case, and my finger =D

Yeah, everybody bleeds the first time... you wise up after your first build though. Unless you like to bleed, you start buying better-quality cases that don't have those !#@%!#@% sharp edges on them.

What's really scary, is buying a case, and finding out that the bottom of it has been pre-bled-on during assembly. :( It's one thing to be exposed to your own blood, it's quite another to be exposed to unknown blood. There's nothing that says "sweat-shop labor" more than bloody cases, I'll tell you that.

Yeah, unless you're cheap like me and keep the same cheapo case for several years. As well, I do work on plenty of people's systems as freelance work; nothing like a pre-built turd to give you some fresh wounds.

Same here, first case was ubercheap (Ill save teh munney!!1!1) and sliced & diced me pretty good. PSU died as an added bonus. Current case is an Antec and I  it

Heh. I think we've all cut ourselves.

I cut myself last year while changing a PC between cases,I didn`t know until I looked at my fingers lol,I was too busy moving hardware around to notice ;).

RadioHead84 good luck with your first build :).

Not if you buy a quality case, but most first-timers won't listen ("it's just a case, why spend more on it?") and so it happens ;) I was no different.

I dunno what you did then :p People don't get much more clumsy or hamhanded than me, but I found nothing but rounded edges in my case

I cut myself trying to pry off a drive bay cover from the inside. It was super deep and the blood gushed out nonstop and dripped all over the floor... scared my girlfriend, since I was installing a CDRW for her!
