Well, I've finally decided to build my first computer to use at my Medical Supply store.

The programs I use are not very resource intensive (Quickbooks, Office, etc.).

As I am a tech junkie, I'm pretty sure I want and A64, about a gig of RAM, and a quick hard.

Also, a proper PSU, graphics & sound cards, cooling, and a nice, but inexpensive case.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Dell - Just kidding :D

You could go with an older socket 754 mobo and Athlon64. If you really dont need the Athlon64 then you could pickup the older Socket A with the AthlonXP or even Semperon (sp?)

check pricewatch.com

I really dont think you need to spend money on an Athlon64 unless you are doing more than office, email & internet.

Just my 3 cents. (inflation :p)

The case & PSU together cost $150.00, but will be well worth the extra money, IMO.
