First build - these okay or any mis-matches?

I've always bought pre-built from Dell but I want to build for my replacement. Here's what I selected after browsing through this forum.

Other than the regular Internet & office use, I intend to use it for photo manipulation and video editing. Key here is I'm just an enthusiast in these two hobbies. Perhaps also run VMWare desktop to satiate my IT profession. Finally games (mostly combat flight sim & car racing) but this will be much lighter use than above.

It would "appear" to be compatible. However, I doubt anyone will help you much without links.

I've also used VM Workstation. My personal suggestion is strongly to using 2 PCs and a KVM, if you can afford that.
