Since there seem to be a lot of knowledgeable people here, I thought you'd be able to help me out with my component choices. I have roughly $2k to spend and I quickly put together a list of components that look alright to me. Please help me out with any compatibility issues that you see or any recommendations that you have. Thank you so much.

Processor- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775
RAM- Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Primary Hard Drive- Western Digital Raptor WD1500ADFD 150GB 10,000 RPM SATA

Speakers- Logitech Z-5500 505 Watts 5.1
Stupid question... will these speakers still work even though my sound card supports 7.1?
