Was trying to keep things short so I didn't include anecdotal evidence. Wondering now if I shouldn't put a few examples in to back up my points.

edit: To preface it a bit, it's the first in a string of articles on ways to save (or better spend) your money, ways to better use your computer and the internet, and general homebaked goodness. (As the site is geared toward Seattle, most people outside the area wouldn't see much immediate value from joining Theatre Puget Sound.)
